 MYSTIC 7 RECORDSis a Bay Area based record label that develops, markets, and showcases local groups and artists with national prominence & potential. We have been doing soundtracks and compositions for top artists and movie producers in the industry for more than twenty years. In 2007, we decided to expand our departments by opening a recording studio to develop new and upcoming artists for the Mystic 7 Record label. Current Status: Mystic 7 started as a movie sound-tracking company that specialized in sound compositions and editing. It still is the meat and potatoes of the organization, and the financial base. Mystic 7 as of 2007 began embarking on an overall company diversification into other areas of the music business. Our major focus has been on a Reggae/Latin genre with our concentration in the United States, Mexico, Central & South American markets, along with Rock, Hip Hop, Blues, & Jazz. We have built a state of the art recording studio for artist signed with the Mystic 7 Record label. In addition, we are acquiring a music showcase, which will include a full |
service nightclub, top flight sound and lighting system with a full stage called “CATZ UNDERGROUND”. The facility will have a full fledged recording studio designed for live recording. In addition we are promoting local shows along with the M.I.L.E.S PROJECT called TALENT SHOWCASE. This will be a vehicle for up and coming groups, singers, & comedians to showcase their talent while gaining regional & national exposure, while raising money for youth and school programs. Our Values: We embody the creed of mind, body, & soul allowing creativity of the individual as well as group participation. Each part contributes to the success of Mystic 7 Records as a whole. Artist Development: We are looking for new and exciting artists all the time. This is the most important aspect of the Mystic 7 process. It is important to provide the best studio recordings, live performances, bookings and marketing. Mystic 7 Records chooses an artist based on their talent, commitment and work ethic. We will sign 2-3 acts a year. All submissions of demos are by appointment or referral only. Products/Services: Mystic 7 offers a comprehensive range of services to support our artist.
